RESEARCH
- Conducted doctoral research work on the processing and preservation of fresh-cut fruits by different preservation and processing techniques such as modified atmosphere packaging, controlled atmosphere storage, minimal processing, hurdle technology, freeze-drying, osmotic dehydration, edible coating etc at DFRL, Mysore, India. Also determined the degradation kinetics of color and total carotenoids in jackfruit bulb slices during hot air drying
- Conducted research work on the standardization of the pretreatment for milling of pulses such as redgram, blackgram etc. at PPRC, Thanjavur, India
- Conducted research work on inactivation kinetics of anti-nutrients in soybean using different thermal techniques such as microwaving, steaming, and blanching etc. at CIAE, Bhopal, India
